A fun way to get free gift cards to places like Amazon, Google Play, Nintendo E-Shop, or Spotify is to install these apps on an Android mobile device and play the mobile games in their library. There are several apps that claim to do this but I’ve picked these two because they have the best selection of games and they actually pay out. I’m talking about Rewarded Play and MistPlay.
They way it works is you install the apps and browse through the library of games that they’ve partnered with. Once you find one you like install the game and launch it from within the app. It will keep track of how long you play and give you points which can be redeemed for gift cards. In order to do this the app will ask you to approve “Usage Access” on your device. As explained by the apps this just allows them to see check your progress in the games you install.
Each app has a slightly different way of doing things.
Rewarded Play
With Rewarded Play, you will typically earn points for playing each game for a short time each day (1 – 3 minutes), and then each game will have a number of goals to reach for more points, such as “Reach Level 10 for 10,000 points”. On rewarded play roughly 50,000 points = $5 gift card. They have games like, Farmville 2, Dice Dreams, CSR Racing 2.

MistPlay
On MistPlay it just tracks how long you play, it doesn’t care about what level you get to. This means you can even earn for playing games you aren’t particularly good at. They have some popular games like Candy Crush, Soda Crush, Evermerge, and Board Kings.

If you like to play mobile games you could easily earn $10-$20 dollars a month just by playing the game you love at Rewarded Play and MistPlay.
Like I said before there are other apps out there that claim to do this but these two are the real deal with a great selection of games. Current Music, an app I reviewed previously, also has a games section, but as I mentioned their selection isn’t very big and I mainly use them to get the super boost. One other place you can play mobile games for rewards in a different way is SwagBucks, but I’ll cover them in a future post.
